Adding A Nutritional Boost With Smoothies

It’s a great idea to add more vitamins and fiber to your diet; why not do it the painless way with a delicious homemade smoothie? Making your own smoothies allows you complete control over the portion sizes and ingredients; you won’t have to worry about someone sneaking refined sugar or high-fructose corn syrup into the mix! Dust off that blender and let’s explore some recipes.

For a pumpkin-pie taste that can’t be beat, we like the Detoxinista’s pumpkin spice green smoothie! Be sure to get spinach that looks fresh and has crisp stems; wilted greens won’t have the same amount of nutrition. And feel free to substitute dairy milk if you prefer.

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 5 soft Medjool dates, pitted
  • 1½ cups water or almond milk

This delicious summery smoothie is a cool way to start your day. Swiss chard is a superfood that’s high in calcium and potassium.

The best thing about making your own smoothies is that you can customize them! Many smoothie shops will add vitamins and supplements for a fee, but why not add your own? If you could use a boost of energy and a little help for your immune system, we recommend adding some of our TransformEFI supplement to your smoothie for a nutritional boost that fits your busy schedule.
